It's that time of year when TV experts give their opinion on who has been the best player in each position during the entirety of the Premier League season, and also when club captains and manager submit votes that actually matter in determining the end of season award winners.
We saw recently who John Terry thinks should get the nod in the Premier League team of the season, including Chris Smalling shoe-horned in at right-back, but now his Chelsea teammate Cesc Fabregas has had a go after he was invited into the MNF studio to offer his opinions on Chelsea's strange campaign among many other topics.
Usually we'd post a player's XI if he made some bizarre choices, but what was surprising to us is that Fabregas picked pretty much as good a team as you could come up with:
Alderweireld is someone who we have seen omitted from many a list, usually in favour of going with both Leicester centre-backs, but the Belgian has been a revelation since moving to Spurs, best exemplified by this insane stat that popped up following the win against Stoke on Monday night:
Toby Alderweireld hasn't committed a single foul in exactly 600 minutes of Premier League action.

He's got Mahrez, Payet, and Vardy into a midfield four, and he's got the two dead certs up front as well. A very good effort from Cesc, who admitted after a jibe by Jamie Carragher that no Chelsea player was in contention after such a poor season.
The only slightly iffy one is Ryan Bertrand at right back, as both Danny Rose and Christian Fuchs have enjoyed excellent seasons, and Manchester United fans will no doubt be upset that Timothy Fosu-Mensah has been omitted.
Fabregas did well on MNF. It's refreshing to see Sky opt for current and recently retired players, a trend that has been matched by BT Sport and even RTÉ and TV3 three in recent times, rather than older former players that are just going to complain about haircuts and the lack of two-footed challenges.
