On Tuesday, the mysterious Machiavellian figure that is the Secret Footballer 'revealed' the name of the individual who has been causing friction in the Chelsea dressing room.
I’m told that Cesc Fabregas is the leader of that mini-revolt. And as a player, you do things like this when you know you are in the right.
That followed on from reports over the weekend that one player inside the Chelsea dressing room had uttered the biggest sin in football, 'I'd rather lose than win for him'. Like some kind of crap detective novel, fans have been putting two and two together and getting Fabregas in all this.
It must be said that the Spanish international has been nothing short of terrible this season. But to suggest that he is leading a revolt, or worse, not giving it his all, is probably a bit of stretch.
Now, Fabregas has decided to issue a statement via Twitter denying his involvement in any background upheaval in the Stamford Bridge dressing room.

Fabregas was dropped for the 3-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool on Saturday and with the Champions League clash against Dynamo Kiev coming on Wednesday, it will be very interesting to see if Fabregas is back in Mourinho's starting eleven.
