A man lies in a Glasgow hospital fighting for his life today after a heinous stabbing attack in the wake of yesterday's ill-tempered Old Firm derby.
Police have said that an incident took place outside a pub in the Merchant City area around 5 pm yesterday evening, after Celtic all-but-sealed the Scottish Premiership crown in beating their arch rivals 2-1.
Three men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and whilst a 29-year-old man was later released, two men aged 30 and 47 remain in hospital, with the latter's condition said to be critical.
Whilst Police Scotland have yet to confirm if Sunday night's incident was football related, suggestions on social media point to an altercation between rival sets of fans both inside and outside the city centre pub.

The incident bears the same harrowing sectarian hallmarks to the murder of teenage Celtic fan Mark Scott in the city 24 years ago, less than half a mile away from the scene of yesterday's fracas.
The 16-year-old was returning from a Celtic match along Glasgow's London Road - a thoroughfare that passes through the staunchly Loyalist area of Bridgeton en route to and from Celtic Park - when he and friends got entangled in verbals with a group of Rangers supporters outside the Windsor Bar.
Scott had his throat slashed from behind before bleeding to death on the street, in a murder that appalled Scotland.
James Forrest scored the 86th-minute winner to send Neil Lennon's side 13 points clear at the top of the table with only 7 games left with 21 points on offer.
Celtic had taken a 27th-minute lead through French striker Odsonne Edouard before Rangers player Alfredo Morelos saw red for an ugly elbow on Hoops captain Scott Brown.
Ryan Kent equalised for Steven Gerrard's ten-men just after the hour mark before Forrest's late strike.
A flashpoint occurred on the field after the sounding of the full-time whistle as Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday got himself worked up over what seemed to be Brown's level of celebration, eventually receiving a red card in the tunnel area.
