Henrik Larsson was a hell of player. The Swede was unbelievable during his seven year stint at Celtic, and he made lasting impacts at both Barcelona and Manchester United despite his short time at those clubs.
He is still one of the most beloved players to even pull on a Celtic jersey.
His managerial career has been less successful. Thus far he has been limited to jobs in his native Sweden, taking in stints with three different clubs. His most recent job was with Helsingborg, whom he departed from last month due to abuse from the club's supporters on social media.
He could now be set for a new gig, and it's somewhat of a surprising one.
Larsson was the Stadium MK this afternoon to take in the clash of MK Dons and Southend, with a view to becoming the manager of the away team.
Kevin Bond left Southend earlier this month, with Larsson now the firm favourite to replace him.
Breaking news on the managerial front......I understand Henrik Larsson will be here watching today and he WILL be interviewed for the job despite originally being ruled out.

They have been in League One for the last three seasons, with former Republic of Ireland international Simon Cox finishing as their top scorer on each occasion.
Their status in the division is currently under threat however, as they languish in 22nd place in the table. Will Larsson be the man to turn things around?
