The likelihood of Celtic defender Virgil Van Dijk leaving Park Head this summer seems like an inevitability, and the chances of that move happening have increased yet again this evening as Celtic have brought another defender into the club.
With Daley Blind looking rather impressive at centre back in the early stages of the season, and Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo close to a return from injury, Manchester United have allowed promising youngster Tyler Blackett lo leave the club, and he will be playing in the SPFL as Celtic have managed to secure his services on a one year loan deal.

Blackett was thrust into the first-team picture at Manchester United under Louis Van Gaal after an impressive pre-season in the Dutchman's first year at the club, and while he did show flashes of promise in his 10 Premier League appearances, the overall verdict was that he was still very raw in his development.
An excellent athlete, Blackett will now look to develop his game in Scotland, and Celtic have now brought someone in to play alongside Dedryck Boyata should Van Dijk leave the club in the coming days.
We are waiting for official confirmation on this one but the deal looks to be done.
