As Celtic desperately searched for an equaliser that would send their Champions League tie with Maribor to extra time on Tuesday night, Virgil van Dijk had a chance. A glorious chance, as he beautifully chested down a cross and immediately hit a volley from the edge of the six-yard box, unfortunately it was straight at the keeper.
