As Celtic say goodbye to Ange Postecoglou and Brendan Rodgers once again takes up the helm, Celtic have gone about rejuvenating their iconic green and white hoops jersey. However, the Celtic faithful have been left less than pleased by their new home jersey which launched today.

Adidas and Celtic combined to release the new kit that is now available for pre-order and after seeing it fans have been less than impressed. While the design still incorporates the iconic green and white hoops that football fans across the world recognise, it somewhat blurs them and combines them with a pattern that would be more fitting on a dinosaur teddy than one of sport's most iconic kits.

Fans Slam Latest Celtic Jersey

Since the jersey released earlier this morning Celtic fans and Football fans alike have been lighting up social media absolutely rinsing Adidas's latest attempts to rejuvenate the kit.

From comparisons to dinosaur pyjamas and parody jerseys as well as the current RTE fiasco, fans did not hold back at all and we've compiled the best of the reactions below.

While most fans have been comparing the kit to dinosaurs and outcrying the slaughter of the Celtic champions jersey, Celtic have had their say, describing the jersey as part of their return to 'paradise'. Whether this paradise is in Glasgow or a few million years ago were not quite sure though.

Nevertheless, Celtic felt it represented the tradition of the club, saying this on the jersey's release:

The champions of Scotland will return to Paradise for the new season with a fresh new look, as the latest green and white hooped adidas x Celtic 2023/24 Home Kit is unveiled today.

The latest Home Kit for the Bhoys features a modern twist on the traditional hoops, with elements of the glass pattern from the original entrance to the stadium included, offering a nod to the long and rich history of our great club.
