Celtic have agreed a deal with Derry City to sign winger Michael Duffy. Following their comfortable but slightly underwhelming 2-0 win over Rangers on a mess of a pitch at Hampden Park, they are trying to take on a few more players as they attempt to make sure of another League win.

Duffy scored 15 goals for Derry last season played for the Republic of Ireland at U18 level but has played for Northern Ireland since. He turned 20 in July.

Interestingly, Duffy was one of the 22+ players who so failed to impress John Still in the FAI Cup Final. Not good enough for Luton but good enough for Celtic so. If we accept Still's infallibility, then Celtic have clearly fallen a long way.
