With the summer transfer window now in full swing, it is likely that quite a few Ireland stars will be on the move over the coming weeks. Celtic fans will be hoping that this includes Adam Idah, who has been heavily linked with a move to Glasgow in recent times.
The striker had a hugely successful loan spell at the club in the second half of last season, scoring nine goals and registering two assists as the Hoops claimed a league and cup double. That run also included an unforgettable late winner against Rangers in the Scottish Cup final.

While Celtic fans were initially unsure about the signing of Idah, he would go on to establish himself as a fan favourite in the months that followed. They were keen to see him join on a permanent basis as a result, although it seems that the club are still some way off agreeing a deal for the player.

Celtic see opening bid for Ireland star rejected
Celtic have reportedly submitted their opening bid to sign Adam Idah this summer, although it was swiftly rejected by Norwich City. In fact, they will likely need to increase it significantly in order to get a deal over the line.
HITC are reporting that Norwich City will only sell Adam Idah if Celtic double their opening bid of £4million, with the Championship club seeking £8million in order to sell the 23-year old.
Such a fee would make him one of most expensive signings in the club's history, with only Odsonne Edouard arriving at Parkhead for a larger fee.
The Ireland star's club career had stagnated somewhat prior to his move to Celtic, finding himself in and out of the team at Carrow Road. A move away from the club this summer would certainly seem like the best move for all involved, with Glasgow looking like the ideal destination.
Here's hoping that the two clubs can come to some sort of agreement over the coming weeks.
