Happy birthday to a true master of the dead ball.
Brazilian playmaker Juninho Pernambucano is famous for his unique and ridiculously effective free kicks. In fact, Andrea Pirlo even dedicates a section of his autobiography to recalling how he would study tapes of Juninho in order to figure out how he manipulates the ball, and then adapt that into his own technique. He scored all kinds of free-kicks from all kinds of distances, and we thought what better excuse to post this compilation of amazing set-piece goals than his 40th birthday.
Enjoy.
