It's easy to bash a 0-0 draw, but there have been some classics down through the years - and an upcoming event from Carlsberg 0.0 seeks to celebrate a fixture which has become synonymous with stalemates in recent years.
On January 31st, Liverpool will face Chelsea for the second time this season. Their meeting on the opening day finished in an entertaining 1-1 draw. However, prior to that game, each of the previous four meetings had finished 0-0.
Two of those, the 2022 EFL Cup and FA Cup finals, even finished 0-0 with the addition of extra-time on top of the 90 minutes.
Going back as far as the eras of Jose Mourinho and Rafael Benitez, there was a plentiful offering of goalless draws between the sides, most notably a pair of them when they were strangely drawn together in the 2005-06 Champions League group stages.
What better occasion then to celebrate the beauty of the 0-0 draw than the latest reunion of Liverpool and Chelsea - which is exactly what Carlsberg 0.0 will do on Monday January 29th, with the help of a pair of football legends.
