Carlos Tevez's Father Kidnapped Earlier Today; Later Released

Carlos Tevez's father, Juan Carlos Cabrial, was kidnapped earlier today when he was driving through Buenos Aires. He was held for ransom by kidnappers who did not apparently realise he was the father of one of Argentina's most famous footballers.

They upped their ransom price upon realising who he was.

However, Argentine newspaper Clarin now report that he has been released and is currently with police.
