League of Ireland First Division side Cabinteely have announced that members of their U19 side sitting the Leaving Cert will be provided with free additional tutoring ahead of the exam.
The club have teamed up with The Dublin School of Grinds to provide the opportunity.
In a post on their Facebook page, the club said that initiave was part of a belief that education is key to the development of a player.
Cabinteely F.C. have teamed up with The Dublin School of Grinds to offer free Leaving Certificate grinds for our League of Ireland Under 19s Team.
As part of our player pathway, we at Cabinteely F.C. believe that education is a crucial part in the development of young players.
The team’s training schedule will reflect this with players studying and attending grinds on Mondays and Wednesdays, training on Tuesdays and Thursdays and playing matches on Saturdays.This study/training/play balance will give young players the opportunity to achieve their true potential, not only on the pitch, but also help them to achieve their academic goals.
