It has probably been the one crazy transfer rumour every fan has hoped would actually happen and Crystal Palace have only gone and bloody done it.

The £10m deal, which will see the French midfielder reunited with Pardew, has broken Palace's transfer record and could even rise to £13m with add-ons.
Cabaye believes Palace can compete to 'get into the top eight' and with signings like him there's no reason why they can't.
Obviously Pardew must have been a major reason the Frenchman agreed to sign. He told journalists:
I also know the gaffer and have worked with him before and I'm confident with him. I want to do my best for him because he's made a big effort to get me to come here, as well as the chairman.
A tidy piece of business.
