Fresh from seriously impressing at the Euros, Jeff Hendrick has become a wanted man across Europe, with Galatasaray among the clubs linked with a bid for the Dubliner. The side most seriously interested in landing Hendrick, however, appears to be newly-promoted Burnley. Sean Dyche had a £3 million bid for Hendrick rebuffed after the Euros, and now the Clarets have returned with an improved bid of £5.5 million.

Derby have rejected the bid, as they are keen to hold on to Hendrick. According to Pat Murphy of the BBC, Burnley will have to up their bid considerably if they are going to land Hendrick:
No need for @dcfcofficial to cash in by selling Hendrick, especially as sum offered is so low. Not as if Burnley an established PL club.
