St Pats' most famous fan took to Twitter last night to join in the celebrations of yesterday's Airtricity League title win. Wendell Pierce, Treme star better known to us as Bunk from The Wire took solace in Pats' win after New Orleans Saints snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in the last second against New England Patriots:

Of course it's not the first time Pierce has talked about his love for the League of Ireland side, telling an Irish journalist back in March that he was a big supporter.

However he didn't take too kindly to Jimmy McNulty revealing that he supports Shamrock Rovers.
