He may be off to L.A. Galaxy but that's not to say football fans on this side of the Atlantic will be completely devoid of Steven Gerrard next season.
BT Sports' big Champions League reveal was somewhat ruined last week with leaked news that Gary Lineker would be the man to front their coverage of Europe's premier club competition next season.
Today, they have officially launched their coverage and Lineker is indeed front and centre but he's not the only big name to sign on. Lineker will join Jake Humphries in the presenting seat while Rio Ferdinand, Jose Mourinho, Glenn Hoddle and, L.A. bound, Gerrard will be the channel's regular pundits.

BT shelled out a whopping £897 million to take the Champions League rights in the UK away from Sky and ITV for the next three years. Gerrard's arrival in particular will be of interest to quite a few fans but whether that's enough to get them to sign up for the service remains to be seen.
Irish fans, however, shouldn't be too worried as RTÉ will continue to show Champions League games on Wednesday nights until 2018 at the very least.
