Bruno Fernandes has struck fear into Manchester United supporters by leaving the door open for an Old Trafford exit this summer.
Since joining the club in January 2020, Fernandes has been a shining light in an otherwise dismal period for United, regularly producing big moments as well as taking the captain's armband last summer.
Now 29 and with just one trophy to show for his time at Old Trafford, it would be understandable if the Portuguese midfielder started to weigh up his options, and that's what he appears to be doing if his latest quotes are anything to go by.
Following news that United are willing to listen to offers for most of their squad this summer, Fernandes has hinted that he could be part of the exodus, despite being the star player in the team.
Bruno Fernandes to think about Man United future after Euros
"A player always has to want to be here, but at the same time, you have to want him to stay. At the moment, I feel there’s that on both sides," he told DAZN Portugal.
"I’m not thinking too much about the future, not least because, obviously, this season hasn’t been at the level I’d hoped for, either individually or collectively, so far.
"So, if you want me to be very honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the Premier League, it won’t be until after the Euros because nothing will be able to take my focus away from the FA Cup final and the Euros, as there’s nothing more important than that at the moment.”

Manchester United chaos
It's easy to sympathise with Fernandes, as an hugely talented player who has spent his prime years surrounded by the chaos of modern-day Manchester United.
Given everything that he's done, not many fans would begrudge him a move as he enters his 30s, particularly if he signs off with a win over Manchester City in the cup final.
With a shortage of elite talent and leadership at United though, the club would need to unearth something special in order to replace their star man.
