Republic of Ireland fans got a glimpse of Callum O'Dowda's potential when he was one of the bright spots in his cameo for the final Euro 2016 warm-up against Belarus in Cork.
It seems that Ireland fans weren't the only ones impressed. Championship club Bristol City have splurged a reported £1.6 million to take O'Dowda to Ashton Gate from League One side Oxford City. O'Dowda is one of five new signings for Bristol City including former West Ham and Portsmouth star Gary O'Neil, and an Icelandic Euro 2016 squad member Hörður Björgvin Magnússon.
The winger moves on a three-year deal, and he hopes the move will help his international chances.
O'Dowda though seems to be the man that Bristol City fans are excited about the most:
