Brighton & Hove Albion is fast becoming the go-t0 Premier League hotspot for young Irish prospects, spearheaded by Evan Ferguson, and added to with today's announcement of the signing of 18-year-old Jamie Mullins from Bohemians.
Mullins now joins Ferguson (who became Ireland's youngest ever Premier League goalscorer on Saturday against Arsenal, and added another goal and an assist to his tally against Everton last night), Andrew Moran (who made his Premier League debut against Everton), James Furlong, and the on-loan Shane Duffy and Aaron Connolly.
"We are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Jamie Mullins from Bohemians, subject to international clearance," wrote Brighton in a statement on the club website.
"The Republic of Ireland under-18 international has agreed a contract until June 2025 and will link up with the club’s under-21s."

Mullins, who made 32 first team appearances for Bohemians, also played alongside Ferguson at the Dublin club, and spoke about this and his 'easy' decision to join The Seagulls.
“I can’t wait to get started. I played alongside Evan Ferguson at Bohemians and we know each other really well," said Mullins.
“We spoke a lot about what Brighton has to offer young players and the pathway they have, so it made it a really easy decision to join.”
“We’re really pleased to welcome Jamie and we’re excited to begin working with him," added Brighton's U21s coach Shannon Ruth.
