Alan Judge's brilliant solo goal; Jeff Hendrick getting his second of the season; Cyrus Christie scoring his first goal for Derby along with looking remarkably comfortable going forward - there was plenty to pique Martin O'Neill's interest at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Judge opened the scoring for Brentford from a tight angle following his robbing of the ball in midfield and then a superb solo run. It was the 26-year-old's 13th of the season. He will surely get a start in one of the three upcoming Ireland friendlies at the end of the month.
Jeff Hendrick's season has been less prolific in terms of goal scoring form when contrasted with 2014/15. He has just two this season for Derby compared to nine in total last season.
On Cyrus Christie's competitive debut for Ireland against Gibraltar, he looked unsure at times on the ball. Against Brentford, his goal came after some slick interplay with Bradley Johnson.
