A couple of weeks ago Brendan Rodgers made it clear that Mario Balotelli, Jose Enrique and Fabio Borini had no place in his first team squad this season. Balotelli is gone to AC Milan, Borini is gone to Sunderland and now Enrique is also about to be shifted off the wage bill.
West Brom are set to be Rodgers new favourite club after they agreed a deal to take the Spanish left back to the Hawthorns. Several sources across the water are suggesting that Liverpool will receive £7 million for the former Newcastle man.

However, we'd suggest Liverpool shouldn't start thinking that their negotiating team are miracle workers. The Liverpool Echo who are more on top of these things than the Metro are suggesting that the fee is better described as nominal.

In other words, so little that announcing the fee would be an embarrassment to the player. They may not be getting £7 million but Brendan Rodgers will no doubt be delighted to get rid of another one of his banished squad players.
