Adam Idah certainly made his mark in Glasgow last season during his six-month loan spell with Celtic.
The Republic of Ireland striker signed on loan from Norwich in January, and played a crucial role in a tight title run-in against arch-rivals Rangers.
He scored several major goals in the run-in, including against their Glasgow rivals, as the Bhoys retained their Scottish Premiership crown.
At the conclusion of his loan spell, many initially sceptical pundits were advocating for Celtic to make a permanent move for the Corkman.
However, with the Scottish season about to get underway, it doesn't seem as though a move is in any way close.

Brendan Rodgers gives no indication Celtic are on verge of Adam Idah signing
FootballScotland reported earlier this week that Celtic had not submitted a renewed bid for Adam Idah since their opening gambit of £4 million was rejected by Norwich last month.
This came after separate reports suggested that Idah had missed his flight to link up with Norwich for their pre-season camp. The fresh reports would seem to confirm that this had nothing to do with any potential move to Celtic being confirmed imminently.
Brendan Rodgers faced the media on Friday ahead of their Scottish Premiership season opening on Sunday afternoon against Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.
There had been some talk that Adam Idah could be re-signed in time to play a part in Sunday's game - however, Rodgers confirmed that such talk was inaccurate. When asked if Idah would be a Celtic player by Sunday, Rodgers simply said, "Not that I am aware of."
That would appear to confirm that a move is not imminent. However, Rodgers' further comments on any potential transfer business for Celtic this transfer window suggested that nothing is close to completion for the Hoops.
I know what I have always wanted and I know how we can improve the team.
There are so many moving parts in transfers and it is not just a case of we need that player and we can pick him. It is not as simple as that and it is very complex.
Whilst the work is going on behind to improve the squad and give us the sort of guys who can make a difference for us we will work with what we have.
There will be some guys who will move on as they will feel that they want to play games.
It seems as though the main moving parts at Celtic this summer may be exits, casting doubt on whether Adam Idah will be lining out in Glasgow this season.
