The Irish football team, Ian Madigan, the Cork hurlers, O'Neill's - those involved in the Irish sporting sphere have been falling over themselves to pay tribute to the 1916 Rising.
Bray play Sligo at the Carlisle Grounds this evening - the Wicklow club had planned to recognise Connolly, Clarke, Pearse and co.
However, according to the Irish Sun, the FAI have stepped in to intervene.
On Friday, the Bray Wanderers Twitter account posted an image of the Carlisle Grounds pitch with the Centenary logo painted within the centre circle.

FIFA rules prohibit non-football markings on the pitch and so the FAI have told Bray their tribute will not be permitted.
