It's been a busy day for the German giants.
After signing Thorgan Hazard earlier in the day, Borussia Dortmund announced the signing of Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen this afternoon for a fee believed to be in the region of €25 million.
The 23-year-old becomes the club's third signing in only two days after the Bundesliga runners-up signed left-back Nico Schulz yesterday.
Brandt had previously been linked with a move to Anfield, though he is believed to have been keen on staying in his homeland after a number of impressive seasons in the Bundesliga.
Since making his league debut as a 17-year-old, Brandt has accumulated 165 league appearances, scoring 34 goals and recording 41 assists.

The German international also featured prominently for Leverkusen in the Champions League.
Speaking to the club website after his signing was announced, Brandt said:
I'm a person for whom gut instinct and having a good feeling is important when it comes to decisions. When it comes to Borussia Dortmund, I have a very good feeling.
I would like to continue my personal development, that's one of the main reasons for my transfer. BVB came extremely close to winning the title last season. So there's room for improvement.
I have high hopes with the lads, I'm very motivated and optimistic – not just when it comes to my development as an individual, but the development of the entire team too.
The Black and Yellows came agonizingly close to winning their first league title since 2012 this year, only for Bayern Munich to prove too strong, once again, and claim a seventh consecutive title.
