While Ireland might lack depth in certain positions, that is not the case when it comes to goalkeepers.
Caoimhín Kelleher and Gavin Bazunu have been locked in a duel for the no. 1 jersey for a number of seasons, a battle Bazunu had been winning up until the last number of months. However, his injury coupled with Kelleher's form at Liverpool means that it looks as though he will hold the position moving forward.
The man that is often overlooked in that conversation is Mark Travers. The Kildare native does not quite have the pedigree of the other two goalkeepers, but he is still a very talented player.
Travers first joined Bournemouth as a youth player in 2016, since making almost 100 senior appearances when you include brief loan spells at Swindon Town and Stoke City.
The player has acted as a backup at the club for the last couple of seasons, a spell which included being recalled from those loan spells to provide injury cover. He would make four Premier League appearances in the most recent campaign, although he could move on this summer.

Bournemouth reportedly set sizeable Mark Travers asking price
At 25-years old, Mark Travers is reaching a point in his career where he needs to be playing on a consistent basis. That is unlikely to come at this current club, although they will not let him leave on the cheap.
The Irish Sun are reporting that Bournemouth will seek a fee in the region of £10million if they are to sell the Irishman this summer, with Celtic and Crystal Palace said to be among the interested clubs.
That fee would likely put him beyond the reach of Celtic, while you would imagine that Travers would not be enamoured with the idea of acting as a backup at Crystal Palace or elsewhere.
A £10million asking price shows the way in which he is valued by Bournemouth, although it could make finding a suitable move this summer a lot more difficult.
Either way, you get the sense that the player needs to move on at this point if he is to further his career.
