After near misses in 2010 and 2012, Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for their first major tournament thanks to a 1-0 win in Lithuania last night.

There was some trouble at the stadium as fans tried to get onto the pitch, and started throwing seating at the riot police who prevented them from doing so.

At home in Sarajevo however, the win sparked wild celebrations, with fireworks and flares going off all over the place. Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko and Stoke goalkeeper Asmir Begovic posted videos and pictures of the scenes on Instagram.
