The International Rugby Players' Association have named their team of the year.

Unsurprisingly we've got no Irish representatives.

The team is dominated by New Zealand with seven players featuring. Two South Africans takes the southern hemisphere total to nine. The north only has six representatives as a whole.

Here's the team in full:

Alex Corbisiero (ENG), Bismarck du Plessis (SA), Adam Jones (WAL), Eben Etzebeth (SA), Sam Whitelock; (NZ) Liam Messam (NZ), Sam Warburton (WAL), Kieran Read (NZ); Aaron Smith (NZ), Aaron Cruden (NZ), George North (WAL), Wesley Fofana (FRA), Conrad Smith (NZ), Ben Smith (NZ), Leigh Halfpenny (WAL).

No surprises that All Black no.8, Kiearn Read, has been named as the IRPA player of the year.
