Last season, there was very little to shout about at Manchester United.
It was a dire period for the club, who put in some incredibly poor performances over the course of the campaign. It was hoped the that departure of Ole Gunner Solskjaer towards the end of 2021 would give them a new lease of life, but if anything things got even worse under Ralf Rangnick.
There wasn't much to shout about in the months towards the end of his reign. In fact, things got so bad that one of the highlights was one of their young prospects coming onto the pitch and kicking a few Liverpool players in the final moments of a 4-0 defeat.
Hannibal Mejbri endeared himself to the club's supporters during those few moments and was the highlight for United during the game at Anfield.

He showed that same aggression during his only other Premier League appearance in the weeks that followed, although it is something that is now causing a problem at his current club.
Birmingham City boss warns Hannibal Mejbri about aggression
Hannibal Mejbri joined Championship club Birmingham City on loan back in August, making 11 appearance in the league up to this point in the campaign. That includes a start in the win over QPR last night, although his manager was forced to substitute him just after the interval.
The Tunisia international was walking a tight rope in the game after a yellow card in the first half, although this didn't seem to make him any more careful in his tackling. When he failed to listen to his manager's advice at halftime to calm things down a bit, he was taken off soon after.
Speaking after the game, Birmingham City boss John Eustace said that he would be speaking to the player about this issue to avoid a repeat of the incident moving forward.
I was contemplating bringing him [Hannibal] off at half-time, if I am going to be honest. I spoke to him, spoke to the staff and he assured me he’d be OK. I think it lasted about four minutes.
It’s something we have got to watch but he plays on the edge, that’s why he’s so good, a top player. I am certainly not going to stop him from doing what he does but he has to realise the importance of managing the games at times.
He didn’t get sent off so it makes no difference to me, we brought him off because he was running the risk and that’s it. He might have got sent off on another day and when he made that tackle I thought ‘I have got to get him off’.
At 19-years old, Hannibal Mejbri could yet have a future at Old Trafford as part of the first time.
However, regardless of how much it endears him to the club's supporters, this recklessness is something that he's going to have to take out of his game.
