Roy Keane's second autobiography 'The Second Half' will be released on October 9th. The book has been ghosted by author of The Commitments, The Snapper and The Van, Roddy Doyle.

To mark the launch of the book Easons are holding an event at the RDS on October 22nd where Keane will be joined on stage by Roddy Doyle. Ticket's go on sale, via Ticketmaster, at 10am on September 16th and are "expected to sell out in minutes."
Earlier this summer, Roddy Doyle spoke to Sean O'Rourke about working with the former Ireland and Manchester Utd player and said that the two had met regularly for four-hour sessions.
