Two prominent bookies have suspended betting on Antonio Conte to be sacked by Chelsea, and nobody has a notion what's going on.
Betway and Paddy Power are no longer taking money on what would be an impromptu departure for the Italian, with his Chelsea side currently sitting 7th in the Premier League *after seven games*.
The London club are still just five points off Man City at the top of the table despite having lost two and drawn one of their opening fixtures, and suffered back-to-back defeats against supposed title rivals Liverpool and Arsenal.
Naturally, fans of Chelsea and other clubs are bewildered by the suggestion that Conte faces the axe.
Why am I hearing Antonio Conte is getting the sack at Chelsea? Surely not?! #Conte #CFC

However, the Independent in the UK have reported that they can confirm Conte will indeed not be sacked, literally writing: "The Independent can confirm that Chelsea are not poised to sack their manager."

I'm told that no notice should be taken of some bookies suspending betting on Conte leaving Chelsea. Any suggestion he is is nonsense

Conte is scheduled to hold a press conference tomorrow at 1pm which, in the name of all that is good and pure, will see him discuss Chelsea's Premier League clash with Leicester and not his future at the club.
