With the 2018/19 season well under way, football fans are beginning to see the current versions of their teams kit up close and personal.Despite there being swathes of new designs of kits released every year, very few make a big impact, with a lot of standard patterns being used in a wide variety of teams. There are exceptions to the rule however. In no particular order here are ten kits that have caught the eye from around Europe this season.
Inter Milan third kit
What can I say, I'm a sucker for marble.
Crystal Palace home
Crystal Palace have absolutely knocked it out of the park with all of their kits this season, with the elegant fade from red to blue the highlight of Puma's design.
Atletico Madrid home
Oooh yes, I'm having that. Diego Simeon's men will look the business in their home kit this season, with the red stripes jagging nicely into the dark blue.
Roma third kit
Roma's vibrant third kit uses shades of yellow and orange to highlight a map of the Italian capital.
Atletico Madrid third kit
Maps are all in this season, with Atleti's third choice jersey combining teal, blue and orange with maps of Madrid. It all comes together very well.
Tottenham Hotspur third kit
Now I realise that Tottenham's kit is not to everyone's taste, but I for one like the marble effect that Nike are going for. Plus I'm a big fan of the colour scheme, you just don't see turquoise enough these days.
Lazio home kit
Now isn't this just lovely by Lazio, incorporating the eagle in their crest in to the kit design. Full marks for originality.
Newcastle away
This stunning effort by Puma is a contemporary take on the Magpies' iconic change strip worn during the 1995/96 season.
Parma third kit
Parma's third kit is a slick affair, with a blue and yellow cross really making Errea's design stand out.
Bayern Munich home
Bayern Munich's deep red is accentuated well by Adidas' criss cross pattern. Classy.
