I'm as big a fan of nostalgia as anyone but I think we can all agree that FIFA has come on in buckets and spades during its near 20 year existence.
It has evolved with each new console and consistently improved year upon year. However, in the wake of the release of the soundtrack for FIFA 14 I've been driven to lament.
FIFA music has disappointed me for many a year now. I'm not sure whether it's the fact that I've become detached from current music trends or that my ten-year-old self had an acquired taste in music that has since gone un-whetted, but there are very few tracks that have struck a chord with me in the years since the heady heights of FIFA 2000 and Robbie Williams' 'It's Only Us.'
That being said, with the help of our fans on Facebook, I have to managed to rustle together a selection of tunes to start off my plan to build up the all time best FIFA soundtrack.
