West Brom beat Swansea 3-0 at the Hawthorns on Wednesday night in their first game since sacking manager Darren Moore.
The home side took the lead through Chris Brunt after 19 minutes. Mason Holgate and Jay Rodriguez added the rest in the second half.
It could have been a different game had Bersant Celina dispatched a penalty for Swansea shortly before the break. However, the 22-year-old Kosovan slipped as he took the penalty with his standing left foot knocking the ball of the penalty spot before he struck it with his right.
"I am normally very confident with penalties. This just did not go my way, it was a slip," the former Manchester City player told WalesOnline regarding the miss.
I felt that was the key moment, I feel like I have cost the team and the game would have been different.
I think we would have had a great chance to win, I want to score goals and help this team and I did not do that this time.
It does not make me a worse or better player.
It was Swansea's fourth missed penalty of the season. Celina said that if the opportunity arises again, he will have no hesitation in stepping up to the spot.
ICYMI: Swansea's Bersant Celina bizarre missed penalty was the story of the night as West Brom ran out 3-0 winners at the Hawthorns.
