Former Spurs left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto has gone on record before saying that he doesn't really love football, and that he plays purely because it is a very lucrative job, but he recently posted a few photos to Instagram that make us think that he was actually fibbing. Why? You can't wear these boots if you don't love football.
Since moving to Saint-Étienne, the Cameroon international is playing football again, and he's doing so in the greatest boots of all time, the 2002 Adidas Predator Mania.
Even better, he's managed to secure himself a pair in the luxurious Lunar White colourway.
Sensational.
He's gone out of his way to order his favourite boots from an online site as opposed to just wearing whatever the sponsors ask him to. We only wish more players would follow suit, we need to get the Predator Manias back in the public eye as much as possible.
