Benni McCarthy Forced To Announce That He Is Still Alive

Benni McCarthy, a man with more European Cup medals that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has been forced to announce on his Facebook page that he is not, in fact, dead.

Reports circulated his native South Africa that McCarthy had been killed in a car crash in London, and amid much consternation, McCarthy took to his Facebook page to confirm that he is still alive and kicking, decrying Fake News.

He also got in a plug for the  South African TV coverage of the Champions League final:

Guys please dont believe this news thats going around about me being found dead in London! its totally #FakeNews!!!
I am very much alive! Thank you for all the messages of concern!

People that create this fake news have no respect and are messing with people's lives & emotions!
