Jamie Carragher was never going to lie to us. Just as he said, Sky Sports won't be replacing Gary Neville on a full time basis but Craig Bellamy will be sitting alongside his former Liverpool teammate for tonight's clash between Everton and Crystal Palace on Monday Night Football.

There had been suggestions that Bellamy may be in line for a more permanent role. However, Carragher who did promise a lively guest on tonight's show, went on to refute suggestions that there would be a permanent replacement.

Now it seems that, although Bellamy is the 'lively guest' he won't be a permanent addition and will instead be part of a rotating panel of analysts who will look to fill the void left after Gary Neville's departure for the sunny climes of Valencia.

The Telegraph are reporting that Bellamy will be first up in the hotseat tonight while Frank Lampard is in line to take the seat for next week's Monday night game between Chelsea and Leicester.

We're looking forward to seeing how Bellamy gets on tonight but with pressure growing on Jose Mourinho, next week's game could be unmissable viewing with Lampard having his say on the Stamford Bridge crisis. It has been speculated that, if Champions League results don't go Chelsea's way this week, the game against Leicester could be do or die for the Chelsea boss.

To see Lampard giving his thoughts on the game that could be the nail in the coffin for Chelsea and Mourinho will be intriguing viewing to say the least.
