How often do we hear about a young football prospect touted as the next big thing in their early teens and then never hear about them again?
This Belgian newspaper article has been doing the rounds over the weekend, purporting to be from 2002. As far as we can tell however, the article is in fact simply a profile on the current stars as they were in 2002 and not an incredible piece of clairvoyance that managed to predict every single one of the players as a future international.
However, it is still an intriguing look at all of Belgium's young stars who have made the team everyone's "dark horses" for next year's World Cup.
As for clairvoyance, we at Balls have in fact seen the future and things are looking up for Ireland.
