FanFeud challenge: Leicester vs Liverpool
Tomorrow sees the next big Balls/FanFeud challenge, and it's a game with potentially ridiculous fantasy potential. In one corner, you've got Leicester, unheralded gods of fantasy football. In the other, you've got Liverpool, who scored 5 goals in their last Premier League fixture. This one could go any way. (In case you've forgotten, FanFeud is a fantasy game that's actually good.)
On the Balls Fantasy Football podcast this week (listen below), the lads offered their own take on the match. Mikey and Gavan urged firstly against picking defenders because of the likelihood of a high-scoring affair. Mikey is going for an all-Leicester team, even if he struggled to fill it. Big Robert Huth and Christian Fuchs were offered up as players who could profit off Liverpool's inability to defend set pieces. This writer has gone for an 80% Liverpool team featuring Firmino, Lallana, Sakho, Moreno, and Vardy. I don't feel great about it.
If you've got a better 5-a-side team in mind, go ahead and challenge Balls on FanFeud. You might win money. As with the last gameweek, new sign-ups receive a free bet. If you leave your FanFeud ID name and balls.ie in the chat, you'll have your account credited with a 6 pound bet.
And how's this for a gift from the gods --- the stars of the Balls.ie Fantasy Football pod will be making a cameo live in the Leicester vs Liverpool chatroom tomorrow night. If that doesn't get you pumped for the match, nothing will.
