After footage of Jose Mourinho's argument with Eva Carneiro surface yesterday, there have been a lot of people unhappy with the Chelsea boss and it was very difficult to see where he was coming from as he have his physio a serious telling off for what appeared to be just her and her colleague doing their job.
Well, now it has been confirmed that they were just doing their job, as Jacqui Oatley, a presenter for ITV and BBC, has looked up the rules and discovered that Jose Mourinho's decision to punish Eva Carniero is based on his lack of knowledge of the rules of football.
To clarify: if Carneiro/Fearn had complied with Mourinho's wish, game would not have re-started with Hazard on pitch. pic.twitter.com/th6IH8fYpX

So even if Carnerio had refused to treat Hazard, which would have been far more ridiculous than what she did by the way, Hazard would still have had to leave the field as the referee had decided he needed treatment.
This also confirms the idea that if Jose was angry with having to defend with 9 players for a Swansea counter attack, his anger should have been directed at Eden Hazard for going down when the injury wasn't serious.
Mourinho has come out and said that Carneiro's absence from the touchline may not be permanent, and surely now that it has been proved that his position was incorrect, he should surely allow her to resume her normal duties when all of this dies down.
