The unveiling of Brendan Rodgers as the new Celtic manager took place today, as the Northern Irishman spoke to the press ahead of his second stint with the club.
However, for reasons unknown, BBC Scotland were denied access to the press conference by Celtic.
They confirmed that they have asked Celtic for a comment on why they were barred, and have released a statement on the situation.
We’re sorry that Celtic did not allow us to access today’s media event. We are in discussions with the club in an effort to resolve the situation.

Despite being denied access, the BBC still ran a live blog of the event, where Rodgers fielded many questions and spoke of his Champions League aspirations:
"Your bread and butter is always in Scotland, but I'd like to think we could do something in Europe.
"It's been well-documented over many years when the club hasn't qualified, so even though that is a challenge given the resources other clubs have, that is a great challenge for us.
"Champions League football this season, we'll look to have European football after Christmas and that is a big challenge for us all.
"When Michael [Nicholson, chief executive] outlined the infrastructure of the club, there was a lot of things in place that we had spoken about the first time, the recruitment team in place is set up perfectly to work in the markets we need to be working in.
"For me, that's very important."
