Bastian Schweinsteiger is without a doubt one of the most exciting additions to the Premier League this year. Manchester United have gone from having a questionable midfield with absolutely no depth to having one of the strongest midfield corps in the league in the space of two years, and the Germany captain is the cherry on top.
Among other things, such as being a top quality player and a leader, Bastian is Manchester United's first ever German player. It's funny how United have managed to avoid a German with the top quality talent they have been producing in recent years, but now they've got one, and it doesn't really get more German than Schweinsteiger.
In case there was any doubt over the Germany captain's German-ness, one look at the people he follows on twitter will end that. It seems as though Bastian went about following his new teammates, and he followed them all in order of their position on the pitch:
Brilliant.
The above image is newest followers first, so after following the club he started with De Gea and Valdes, and moved up to Rooney and Chicharito. He's even got the defensive midfielders first moving into more attacking midfielders.
Now it's probably not something he sat down and thought "What is the best way to go about following my teammates? Age? Nationality? Position?" and it's more likely that whoever handles his Twitter account was given a list of teammates to follow, but still, it's fun to thing it's the former.
