Last week, Luke Shaw helped out some fans who had purchased jerseys with 'Shaw 3' on the back before he changed his squad number for this season to 23.
Shaw switched to 23 after Bastian Schweinstieger - who had worn 23 on Man Utd's pre-season tour - vacated the number and changed to 31.
In similar fashion to Shaw, the World Cup winner has also offered to help out some fans who were a little premature with their purchase.
The German international posted on his Facebook page:
What a pity, Florian. I will send you a signed jersey in order to help you out here. Thank you for your great support! Amongst all other fans, who send in a picture wearing one of my old jerseys, I will give away 31 Manchester United jerseys. Just publish your image as a comment under this post. Looking forward to receiving your pictures!
