It took Bastian Schweinsteiger just 17 minutes of MLS action to grab his first goal for Chicago Fire. World Cup glory is surely a step closer for his new side.
The former Man Utd midfielder signed for Chicago during the week, having to answer some uninformed questions about the team's prospects of winning the World Cup during his first press conference.
Chicago drew 2-2 with Montreal Impact on Saturday night evening. Schweinsteiger opened to scoring with a header from a David Accam cross.
Chicago would require an injury time equaliser from Luis Solignac to secure the draw.
