Adam Barton who has played but a handful of games for Preston North End had been called into Nigel Worthington's NornIron senior side for the first time just yesterday. Today he has rejected Nige's overtures and decided to concentrate on his club football while also reportedly keeping himself eligible to being called up by England.

Let's make him see sense and send Trap and his translator to the next Preston game and sort ourselves out with the next big thing, who both Bolton and Sunderland are vying for.

Other interesting facts about Adam - he is the drummer in a band. This musical talent runs in the family, his Dad being the lead singer of 1960s pop-combo The Animals.
