The episode of The Simpsons when Homer becomes sanitation commissioner is a classic. Not only is there a catchy tune but you also have the comedy gold of Springfield moving a few miles down the road by lorry. Edgar Davids must be a fan of The Simpsons because his club Barnet moved their club shop by lorry from their old stadium to their new one.
Times may be hard at Barnet following their relegation from League Two at the end of last season but that doesn’t mean they have to sell their team merchandise off a back of a lorry.
The Bees have left Underhill, their home for 106 years, for a new location appropriately called The Hive and took the portable home that was their club shop with them, on the back of a lorry.
