Barcelona's Twitter Account Hacked After Man City Game

A group claiming to be the Syrian Electronic Army hacked Twitter accounts run by Barcelona last night. The hackers used the accounts to send Barcelona a message related to their sponsorship by the Qatar Foundation.

They also sent out a greeting to Real Madrid.

The tweets were deleted shortly after.

It's not the first time a group claiming to be the Syrian Electronic Army have hacked a football related account. They hacked the accounts of Sepp Blatter and the FIFA World Cup last year.
