Transfer ban? What transfer ban?
Barcelona have secured their second major signing of the Summer, despite not actually being allowed to sign any players until January 2016.
Having announced the signing of Aleix Vidal from Sevilla last month, Barcelona have today confirmed the capture of Turkish winger Arda Turan from Atletico Madrid for a reported fee of £24.1m.
Turan will not be able to play for Barca until 2016, so presumably he will just train and watch from the stands until then. The former Atletico winger played an integral role in the Madrid's club's stunning Liga BBVA title win in 2014, and had been linked with a number of Premier League clubs already this summer.
Instead he will move to the Catalan club where you would have to feel it's going to be difficult for him to find regular playing time ahead of Barca's lethal front three of Neymar, Luis Suarez, and Lionel Messi.
