Former Camorra boss Armando De Rosa claimed that when he was showing Balotelli around the Scampia neighbourhood of Naples in September 2010 he joked about dealing drugs in the neighbourhood. De Rosa alledges Balotelli asked if he could carry out the next sale and his two 'minders' let him. Balotelli acknowledges he was in Scampia with the two men in question, but denies that he knew who they were and says he simply wanted to see what life was like there.

On Thursday he hit back at De Rosa's claim on Twitter. "AHAHAHAHA, they said I used prostitutes, next time maybe they'll say I take it up the...Don't use me to boost your audience."

Cesare Prandelli said Balotelli had already dealt with the issue.
