In the five years since he last pulled on the Irish jersey, Harte has been asked to leave seven different clubs(including this Norwegian one where he took part in this very strange interview), from Blackpool to Levante, but today the Drogedha native can bask in the glory that is this inaugural Alan Kernaghan Balls.ie Player Of The Year Award.

Harte has achieved much in the past season, most impressive is the fact that he scored 18 goals from centre half, that being his favoured position after admitting to himself that he was "not as fast as he used to be" - we are unsure of exactly when he is referring to.

He is being linked to several of his former clubs including newly promoted Leeds but seems to still divide supporters today - see here
